Welcome to the Inn at Court Square, a small boutique hotel located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Here, you’ll discover two beautifully restored houses known for their architecture. Built in 1785, the federal period house is the oldest existing house in historic downtown Charlottesville. Next door, the 1918 houses boasts a rare Mansard roof, characteristic of the mid-nineteenth century. Innkeeper Candace DeLoach brings the hospitality of her native Savannah to Central Virginia.

Jackson Park, directly across from the Inn, is home to a magnificient monument to
Confederate General Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson. The sculpture is considered by art historians to be one of the finest equestrian statues in the world.
FROM DC
Take 66 West to 29 South (Gainesville/Warrenton Exit) to Charlottesville to Rio Rd. Take a left onto Rio Rd., which turns into Park Street and dead ends on Jefferson St. (approx 4.3 miles). Take right onto Jefferson Street, and the Inn will be on the left-hand side across from Stonewall Jackson Park between 5th & 4th Streets.
FROM RICHMOND
Take 64 West to Exit 120. Turn right onto 5th St Extended which becomes McIntire Rd. Turn Right onto Preston/Market Street. Then turn left on 3rd St.N.E. Go one block, and then turn right on Jefferson Street. The Inn is on right just past 4th St.
FROM STAUNTON
Take 64 East to Exit 120 (5th St. Extended). Turn right onto Preston/Market St. See directions above.
FROM LYNCHBURG
Take 29N which turns into 250 Bypass, to Park St. exit and turn right at top of the exit ramp. Follow Park St. until it dead ends on Jefferson St. Take right onto Jefferson Street. The Inn is on the left-hand side across from Stonewall Jackson Park between 5th & 4th Streets.
